FAMILY: Born in Cheshire to Thaddeus Robert Prewett and Evelyn Charlotte Rutherford, who are both involved in the Ministry of Magic in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures and the Department of International Magical Cooperation respectively. Has one older sister, Rowena, who is hoping to get an apprenticeship as a portrait painter. Is extremely close to her cousin, Molly. She is almost like a mother substitute.

BIOGRAPHY: Since childhood, Alice has been very imaginative and would often withdraw from others around her to enter her own world. Even though she has always gotten on well with her sister, the three-year age gap meant that Rowena never really invited her young sister to play with her and her friends… Not that Alice minded… She truly enjoyed her childhood years, though both her parents were absent for large periods of it. Her beloved pet, Roger, was given to her as a peace-offering from her father when he was sent to Mauritius on her eleventh birthday to stop a Muggle reporting a “dodo” sighting. She enjoyed spending the majority of her summers with her cousins Molly, Fabien and Gideon.

When Alice first started school at Hogwarts, she found it difficult to suddenly be around people her own age constantly. Her first month was the hardest, but soon she was befriended by Lily Evans and Mary MacDonald. She’s become more outgoing and does very well in school, having achieved five Os and four Es in her O.W.L.s… She hopes to work in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement as an Auror.

PERSONALITY: Alice is an extremely loyal friend, partly due to the fact that she knows just how important having friends has been in her teenage years. She is always there for anyone who needs to be helped, though she does not like to get too involved in confrontation. She gets on well with nearly everybody.

Alice’s greatest flaw is that she is slightly ditzy at times. She often forgets that poor Roger can’t deliver mail due to his inability to fly and can’t remember the password to the Gryffindor common room at least twice a day… She is also too trusting of people, which sometimes gets her in trouble.

APPEARANCE: Alice is quite tall, about 5’8”, and slim. She is quite dainty. She has long blonde hair and brown eyes. She has a creamy, clear complexion and rosy cheeks. Most likely to be seen in a hippie-style dress when not in uniform.
